Seventeen Stay Time Long Wear Primer

Buying primers is one of my things. I rarely pass by a new relase and I really enjoy trying new ones. So when I saw that Seventeen has refreshed their collection by adding new products I was really happy.

It took me 3 months to decide weather I like it or not. The answer is not. During that time I have used this primer, to be honest, 4-5 times and every time it was an unpleasant experience.
The formula is VERY THICK, I mean really, really thick. And it sets so fast I can't really put it on my face at once. It becomes like a rubber and is very hard to spread round the face.

The next con is that it smells really bad. Sometimes primers have a scent, but it is very light and mostly doesn't bother me. But I can feel this one all day long, not only on my face but on my hands, even after I have washed them several times.

Another thing - it barely even plays it's role as a primer. I'd say it's more of a sticky, thick base that will destroy your make up rather than help it stay put.

I hate giving bad reviews, there are always some advantages in products I write about, but with this primer I just couldn't find one. I really like Seventeen, I've just started to get to know the brand and I love their WOW! primer or the Miracle Matte Pressed Powder. I just didn't love this primer, which is a real waste of money...

Have you tried this primer? What is your opinion on it?

Where did I go?

Honestly, where did I go?

The answer to this question is less complicated than I like to think. For past month or so I have had switched between jobs, meaning that I had a lot of study and adjustments to do. More, it is exams time and at my uni it isn't just study-write-forget scheme but making projects takes times although the real due dates are next week I needed a lot of time to prepare a proper project. Having these two things, I had to cut the third one off, unfortunately the 3rd thing was my blog.

So those are my shameful excuses. I solemnly swear that from now on I'll try to keep organised and write on my blog regularly. If not, feel free to poke me!

Another thing, is it 2014 already? I feel like I have skipped Christmas and New Year, I have even forgotten it was less than a month ago! Time goes by like crazy! My 2014 has started on a speed, so I predict the whole year is going to be busy and crazy like hell. I had no time to make my new year's resolutions s, better late than never, I'll do it now:
1st - I really want to get fit. This will need my whole life to be reorganized, but I've realised that I only live once so I need to take care of my health and body and start to eat healthy and do some excersises
2nd - try to better organise my money, to save them rather to watch them disappear
3rd - treat myself once at a time. Every person needs a treat, life is not only work, school at relationships, mostly it's you, your life is about you and it is a damn time I start making me happy!
4th - start thinking about the future. I'd love to get my own apartment soon and decorate it. I feel like it's finally time to be on my own and I have a strong feeling it's a good idea.
5th - add some new features to the blog, I have a few ideas to improve my blog and I will be introducing them to you soon
6th - start a business on my own. I have wanted to open my interior design workroom for some time now, and I'm feeling that 2014 is a good year to do so!

So, fingers crossed, I hope I'll keep my new year's resolutions and this year will be even better that 2013!

What are your resolutions for 2014?

Winter Lip Care!

In Poland winter is lazy this year. I'm not complaining because I'm not a big fan of wintertime, especially the season with short, dark days and tones of snow. But this year, it's already the end of December, and there's no sign of snow or any symptoms of winter at all. But the temperature is low, not hardcore low, but it's around zero. This dry and cold weather brings pain for my lips. So in this time of need I like to have a little something with me in case of an emergency.

NIVEA LIP BUTTER in Raspberry Rosé is a real savior. I use it everyday to keep my lips from drying, it smells and tastes heavenly. Also I love the packaging, but I prefer lip product that don't have to be applied with your finger.

EINSTEIN Lip Therapy - is another lip serum that is really amazing. This little pot of joy has little shots of vitamin C in it and is really moisturizing as well as gives a perfect protecting during the freezing cold.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Heavenly Berry is my favourite lip val ever! It's super moisturizing and gives a subtle tint of colour to your lips that intensifies the natural colour. It stays put for a really long time.

Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Plum Russian is my favourite lipstick this winter. Every time I feel like I need some colour I reach for this little fellow. It's a perfect colour that can be build up as strong as you want. Also Colour Boost crayon is quite moisturizing which makes it the ultimate winter lipstick!

INGLOT Lipstick in 808 is a matte lipstick in a strong orange/red colour.  I really like wearing it in the festive time, during all the family gatherings and Christmas parties. Also it stays put for a really long time and, even though it's matte, it's really easy to apply.

What is your favourite way to take care of lips during Winter?

DECEMBER: The Christmas Wishlist!

Christmas's just around the corner and I realized I have no Christmas wishlist! How else Santa would know what I want for Christmas this year…? There are many things I want at this very moment and doing this list was a serious struggle, but I think I've picked a few that I want the most. So Santa, take a hint!

BOBBI BROWN Old Hollywood Eye Palette ($75) is a real gem for me, I absolutely love the range of colours here, perfect mix if you ask me! I've never used any of Bobbi Brown products but I've recently read a review on this very palette and I know it would be perfect for me!

SEPHORA COLLECTION Event Entry Palette ($11) I actually saw this the other day in Sephora and I was really impressed by the quality of the eyeshadows and how pretty they looked in the glittery etui!

SEPHORA COLLECTION Primal Instincts Eyeshadow Palette ($28) another Sephora pick, with a wider range of colours, but I think these are a great toned mix that would be perfect for everyday use as well as for the evening.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette (£47.50) I'm in a great need for a fragrance, and I figured that Daisy is the IT fragrance this season and it would be great to have it on my shelf!

BABYLISS VINTAGE GLAMOUR WAVE MAKER (£20) I recently noticed that my hair straightener isn't really enough if it comes to making waves or any type of curls and at this moment my hair are too long to curl them with a hair straightener so I started looking for something to fill in the gap. And I think I have found the perfect solution: hair wand!

Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Set that contains: Serum Lumière (£12.67)Perfecting Masque (£19.30)Bain Cristal - Fins (£10.67) and Lait Cristal (£12.67) If we're talking about hair I've found a set that would suit my hair perfectly because it was created for fine hair like mine, with no volume. As I've really started paying attention on my hair products I think that Kerastase, with their amazing reviews, would be perfect to start with!

What's on your Christmas wishlist?

Seventeen Miracle Matte Pressed Powder

For past few weeks I've been trying, for the first time in my life, products from a brand called Seventeen. As we don't  have it in Poland I have never had an opportunity to do so. But visiting Ireland has opened me to some new experiences as well as to my make up bag. If I were to pick my two favourite products form Seventeen that I bought it would be the WOW! Primer (which I reviewed here) and the Miracle Matte Pressed Powder that I'm just about to review.

I've picked a shade called Silky Beige and it's perfect for a rather fair complexion like mine. It's not too orange or too yellow, rather transparent, it's a shade that really reflects my skins colour.

I'm a girl that's always looking for some more matte products. So when I saw this I was like: Hey! You don't need this. But it's a perfect matte so maybe. Ok, I'll buy it. Weird, I know, but at first I wasn't really convinced to buy it. I have actually bought it in Boots on the airport as my last minute purchase. But I'm glad I did! The MATTE factor is really great and I don't have to worry about my shining face or that the oil has taken the control over it. Once I put it on my face is matte till the very evening. And that's why I love it so much. It is really hard to find a product this good.

I have only found two drawbacks. One, it uses up very fast, after two months of using it almost every day I have about a half of the product left. I know you may think that I'm crazy and having a product last for four months is enough but comparing to my other pressed powders it uses up very fast. Which makes me even more sad because, the second drawback, it's not available in Poland and Boots doesn't seem to start sending packages outside the UK. But that gives me another reason to visit this place one more time!

From reading my post you already know I love this product and I'd recommend it to every girl looking for a PERFECT MATTE!

INTERIOR CRUSH: winter wonderland

I absolutely love decorating my house for the Christmas time. Those little accents of winter create an interior that can only be seen around Christmas, and that's what makes it magical. It can't be recreated at any other time of the year. But there are some interiors that are really close to this state all year long and everything they need to bring the winter wonderland is is a Christmas tree. Take a look!

INTERIOR CRUSH: scandinavian homes

Scandinavian desing has always delighted me, the simple forms, toned bright colours, natural materials, thin lines and extraordinary design. All that makes me wanna live in one of these apartments.

Despite the fact that all the scandinavian design seems to walk around cold bright forms, the interiors are nothing but warm and cozy. The people of the North have interior design in their blood and I think that everything they create, a space for living or a furniture, is destined to be great.

As a future interior designer I need to learn about all the styles and I really like most of them, every single one has something special that no other style has but for me Scandinavia has it all. I will definitely design my future house this way!

What do you think of the simple scandinavian interiors?
